Want to create more content, but don’t feel like you have the time? AI can help. And with the right system, you can use a tool like Claude CoWork to create content that actually sounds like you.
You get the best of both worlds: automation without losing your authenticity.
To help you get started, I’m going to break down the exact system for Claude CoWork I wish I had when I started out on social media.

How to Use Claude CoWork to Create Content That Actually Sounds Like You
1. Feed CoWork Your Ideas, Thoughts and Experiences
The first step is the most important one: capture. Many people skip this step, and this is where things usually go wrong. People think, “I’m going to use AI to help me create my social media posts,” and it winds up sounding generic.
Their scripts, their posts and their videos lack the one thing that makes social media work: Your youness.
This is where capturing comes into play. Instead of just copying and pasting whatever AI spits out, I want you to start feeding Claude CoWork bits and pieces of your personality and life.
Here’s what I do: I set up a skill, an automation in Claude. Every day, it asks me about my experience.
- How did the day go?
- What are my wins/losses?
- What are my thoughts?
- Did anything come up?
I also have it so I can write into it any time. If inspiration strikes, I can say, “Hey, this thought just came up. This would be a great content idea.”
I have a folder where I capture pieces of content I like. And it’s not just the topic. I may like the delivery, the hook, the B-roll, the tone or whatever else it may be.
What this capture system is doing is collecting a bunch of information about me and my personality and preferences over the week.
Now, all I have to do is set up an automation to run and say, “Now, evaluate all of this all together and give me some ideas of how I could package and organize this into content.”
This leads us to our next step.
2. Brainstorm
Yes, you can use AI to brainstorm, organize all of your thoughts and take in all the information you feed it.
CoWork is a great tool for giving you different ways to digest all of your thoughts and ideas you can use to create content.
From here, I may say, “Okay, hey, I like this, this and this. Pick out a few.” I might have it help me create some bullet points or a rough outline.
But I’m absolutely not asking it for word-for-word scripts.
I have tried asking for scripts plenty of times, and you know what the outcome is?
Shocker – it sounds like AI. It never sounds like me.
So, I really want to encourage you to have some discernment around how you use AI during this process. It’s a great tool. It’s there to be helpful.
But always ask yourself: Does this sound like me?
Because I’m willing to bet that 99.9% of the time, if you use AI to script your content or write a post for you, it’s not going to sound like you.
One thing I want to mention here is that the big benefit of doing this all in Claude CoWork is that it can take all of the ideas and content you capture and put them into a document directly in your Google Drive, desktop or wherever you want to access that information.
That in itself is super powerful because it saves a ton of time.
If you’re thinking, “That sounds great, but I don’t know how to do it,” don’t worry. I’m not a super techy person either.
I actually figured out how to get this to work by chatting with Claude CoWork.
I said, “Hey, I want to do this. How do I do that?”
We’d go back and forth. If you run into problems, you can screenshot the issue and say, “Here’s the error I’m seeing.”
You don’t need any tech skills. Just ask Claude to walk you through it.
3. Batch Your Content
We’ve fed Claude our experiences. We’ve organized our thoughts and brainstormed. Next, we’re going to batch our content.
How far out you want to batch is completely up to you.
What we do for clients is we like to work a month ahead. That way, no matter what happens, we always have a month of content.
And if inspiration strikes or you’re like, “Hey, this is coming up,” we can either move our pre-planned posts around to include those spontaneous ones or just post them as bonus content on top of what we already have planned.
Batching your content gives you peace of mind that no matter what happens (you get sick, you want to take a vacation), you always have content in the pipeline going out and you’re not panicking about what to post.
You know yourself and what works. If batching a month’s worth of content makes you feel overwhelmed, try doing two weeks instead. Pick something that feels sustainable for you. But definitely have some kind of process in place.
4. Edit Your Content
We have some content now, but we need to edit it.
There are some great plugins that we’ve been experimenting with for editing and using Claude to help us with that process.
But in the meantime, we’re still editing with Descript and CapCut. They’re both tried-and-true applications.
Descript has a lot of AI features that work really well and speed up the editing process.
I recommend experimenting.
Tryplugins and Claude to see if you can find an editing process that works for you.
If that feels too overwhelming, time-consuming, or just not a good fit, then just go with a reliable solution like Descript or CapCut.
5. Repurpose
Now, once you have that video done, Claude can actually do a lot of things with it. You can use it to repurpose your content by:
- Creating and editing short-form videos
- Connecting to Canva to turn your content into carousels
- Suggesting ideas to turn into blogs and newsletters
The possibilities are endless. You can also set templates that make branding pretty automatic.
But I want to remind you, again, to always use discernment whenever you have a tool like CoWork to create your content.
Always ask: Does this actually sound like how I like to write? Or does it sound like AI?
If it sounds like AI, people are not going to read it. They’re going to tune it out, and you’ll lose their trust.
6. Schedule and Feedback
Now that you have a bunch of content, you can use Claude once again to help schedule it.
Just connect Claude to Metricool (or another scheduling tool you prefer using).
And if you’re using a tool like Metricool, you can also get a lot of great information back about the performance of your actual posts and what did well and what did not.
Something I really like to do is get insight into the actual delivery of the content. You can do this by asking Claude to be your coach and say, “Hey, where could I have done better when it comes to communicating my message? Where could I have done better when it comes to using my tone?”
Things like that are so underrated and can actually help you become a better communicator.
The Takeaway
Tools like Claude CoWork can help automate your content creation process without taking away your personality. The key is to use it as a helper.
Feed it your ideas. Organize your thoughts. Brainstorm and get inspiration. Then, use Claude to help you schedule, repurpose and improve your content.
Follow this system and you’ll save so much time while still showing up for your audience.
