Just because you selected the right technology doesn’t mean you’re done.
The next step in the process is crucial to get right: Implementation.
This process can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be with the right protocols and plans in place.
Here’s a general breakdown that you can follow as you implement new technology:
1️⃣ Determine who is on the Implementation Team Consider having change champions, project sponsors, committee members, and project managers.
2️⃣ Create a Plan A lot will likely go into this plan, and a few of which things you should consider as part of your overall plan include data migration and management, change management, and project management.
3️⃣ Train Employees It’s not enough to ensure employees know how to use the new software. As part of this training, help them understand why this new software is essential and how it adds value to their role.
4️⃣ Launch New technology As part of the launch, celebrate your team for their hard work and dedication to training.
