What if you could use one simple tool to automate just about everything in your life and business? With Claude Cowork, you can get pretty close.
This powerful AI tool, which now has over 18.9 million active monthly users globally, can do so much more than just answer questions. It can organize and automate almost anything.
Today, I’m going to share with you 7 ways I used Claude Cowork this past week.
I have to thank my husband for this big shift in my routine. He told me that I needed to start thinking about using Claude Cowork whenever I would normally go to an app to do something. And this one little change has made a HUGE difference.
Here’s how I’ve been using this AI tool this week.

One of the first things I did with Cowork this week was set up some projects for me in ClickUp.
I told it what needed to be done done and by who, and it created the projects immediately.
Previously, I would have had to manually go into ClickUp and create each project one by one, assign each task one by one, and so forth. This was a huge help.
I’m also using Cowork to manage projects. I’ll ask it for status updates, and if anything is overdue, I’ll ask who’s working on what.
Every day, I ask it to be a project manager and keep me updated on where everything is at.
Previously I would have had to run a report. No longer do I have to do that – Cowork does it for me.
It also helps me with capacity planning.
The next thing I used Cowork for this week was to create a slide deck for a webinar that I’m co-hosting, which is actually all about using Claude Cowork.
Now, previously, my workflow would look a little something like this:
But I really wanted to put Cowork to the test here and see if I could use it to design the slide deck.
So, I created a series of prompts and asked Claude to critique its work along the way. This loop is the key to getting a really nice, polished output.
The results really surprised me. The slides looked incredible.
Even if I needed to have my designer come through and improve it, at least I already have a good starting point.
This process got me a working product very quickly, versus having to wait a couple of days for a designer to put this together.
Whenever you have Cowork connected to all of your apps and it has access to them, it can do so many things.
For example, this week, I used Cowork to organize some of my receipts.
Not only did it organize them and put them in folders by the month, but it also named them properly.
It took care of a lot of what would previously have been manual work for me or someone on my team.
Here’s a great personal use case for Cowork. I’ve been using it this week to manage my grocery delivery.
So, I hopped over to Cowork and said, “Can you add apple juice to my walmart.com delivery cart?”
Easy, and I didn’t even have to open the Walmart app. Now, for this use case, you’ll need to make sure that you have the Chrome plugin, so it can access your browser and do this work for you. But it’s a total game-changer.
Cowork can even give you some options to pick when it comes to what apple juice you want.
I had ordered stuff for an event I was hosting on Amazon, and my order had been delayed.
Rather than continuing to check if my stuff has been delivered, this week, I used Cowork to keep me posted.
I don’t even have to go to Amazon. I can do everything right from Cowork.
Here’s a really fun use case that can really make a difference if you’re planning a big trip. I’m personally helping with organizing a group trip, which can be tricky when there are so many people involved.
My sister, who I love dearly, sent over a ton of Airbnbs and locations.
It was just a long list of links that I just had to get organized.
I wanted to see it in table format so that I could really weigh the options we had.
Cowork took all of my information and pulled it together in a way that helped me understand:
It put all of this information into an easy-to-read table in just a matter of minutes.
I was able to send it back to the group so that we could make a decision a lot easier together.
I know firsthand that using a new tool can feel intimidating or overwhelming. But when you really start viewing tools like Claude Cowork as something you go to first (rather than a specific app), you really start feeling the benefits.
Instead of going to ClickUp for project management (for example), I just go to Cowork and ask it to do what I would normally do on ClickUp.
It’s a lot simpler than you think to improve your workflow both in your work life and your personal life. Try a few of my use cases to start enjoying the benefits of AI this week.
